Some people find their calling early. Others discover it along a winding path. For Chef Abby, it was the latter – trading spreadsheets for spatulas when she left her accounting career to pursue her lifelong passion. Growing up watching Julia Child on PBS, she developed a deep appreciation for cooking and the joy that thoughtfully prepared food brings to people.

Chef Abby brings an impressive culinary background to Eight North, having honed her craft at renowned establishments like the prestigious Lucia restaurant at Bernardus Lodge & Spa in Carmel Valley, and most recently as Executive Chef at Indian Springs Resort right here in Calistoga. Her approach to cooking perfectly complements our philosophy at Eight North – rooted in the community and honoring local ingredients from our land.
