Amy Thomason
Event & Sales Director
Amy Thomason brings more than 15 years of hospitality, event production, and sales experience to her role as Events & Sales Director at Eight North. A Saint Helena native with deep roots in Napa Valley, Amy has built her career creating memorable guest experiences and developing strong relationships throughout Wine Country.
Prior to joining Eight North, Amy served as Director of Event Sales at Cyrus, the acclaimed Michelin-starred restaurant in Geyserville, where she led event sales and business development. Her previous roles also include Director of Sales for Wine Country at RMC DMC, where she led the Napa and Sonoma sales team, and Director of Event Sales at The Culinary Institute of America at Greystone and Copia, where she oversaw event and group sales and played a key role in the launch of CIA at Copia.
Amy’s passion for hospitality began at an early age, inspired by her mother, who taught her the art of setting a proper table and always putting guests first. Her relationship with Eight North’s space is equally personal. Growing up in Napa Valley, she remembers visiting the building when it was home to the Silverado Restaurant, often sitting at the bar eating maraschino cherries while her parents visited with friends. Today, she is proud to be part of a mother-daughter-owned restaurant committed to honoring Calistoga and contributing to the local community.
At Eight North, Amy is focused on growing the restaurant’s events and private dining program while developing experiences that feel personal to each client. She begins with a discovery process to understand their goals and vision, then works backward to thoughtfully curate each detail and deliver an experience designed to stay with guests long after they leave. Through this approach, she looks forward to establishing Eight North as a meaningful place for gatherings in Calistoga while building lasting relationships within the community.
